Puppy Training
As Puppy Walking Supervisor for 9 years with Irish Guide Dogs I have experienced all the joys and tribulations a new puppy will bring. Puppies need to learn good manners and be sociable with people and other dogs. Puppy socialisation is the cornerstone of a well adjusted dog.
We offer puppy training in your home, covering -
- Toilet Training
- Choosing the Right Pup
- Basic Obedience, Sit, Down, Stay
- Recall
- Lead Work (excessive pulling)
- Gate & Door Control
- Crate Training
- Confidence Building
- Bad behaviour management and prevention of mouthing, jumping up, chewing, barking, etc.
We would suggest at least 2 visits, an initial hour and an half to to give You advice and set down guidelines and a follow up session to reinforce training.
We arrange appointment times that are flexible to suit You and Your Family’s lifestyle and you can get started on training before vaccination course is completed.
I also offer the facility to get your new pup out on regular basis for visits/walks/socialization, if you are unable to do so. Whatever Your Pup needs are, I can facilitate.

Dog Training
Do you need help and advice with training Your Dog or have any problems that need solving? I offer one to one dog training for You and Your Dog in your own home environment. I would suggest at least 2 visits, an initial hour and an half to discuss You and Your Dog’s Needs, Initial Guidance and advice and a follow up session to cover any other outstanding concerns I arrange appointment times that are flexible to suit You and Your Family’s lifestyle.
